What do you offer?

We offer two ways to bring our prints into your space:

Digital Downloads — High-resolution image files you download and print yourself (or through any print service). Nothing is shipped. Within minutes of purchase, you receive an email with download links. Each digital print includes 10 size variations so you can print at whatever dimensions work for your space, from small 8×10" frames to large 24×36" statement pieces.

Physical Prints — Professional-quality prints on premium enhanced matte paper, produced and shipped directly to you. Available in three sizes: 8×10" ($35), 11×14" ($48), and 16×20" ($68). No printing, no trips to the print shop—just open the box and frame.

What file formats do digital downloads include?

All digital prints are delivered as JPEG files at 300 DPI (dots per inch)—the professional standard for high-quality printing. These files work with any print service, photo lab, or home printer.

What sizes are included with digital downloads?

Every digital purchase includes 10 size variations:

Standard Sizes (2:3 Ratio) — 12×18", 16×24", 24×36"

Photo Sizes (4:5 Ratio) — 8×10", 11×14", 16×20"

Portrait Sizes (3:4 Ratio) — 12×16", 18×24"

International (ISO A-Series) — A4, A3

You choose which size to print based on your frame and space.

What sizes are available for physical prints?

Physical prints are currently available in three sizes:

8×10" ($35) — Perfect for desks, bookshelves, and small wall spaces. The most popular standard frame size.

11×14" ($48) — The sweet spot for gift giving and therapist offices. Substantial presence without dominating a wall.

16×20" ($68) — A statement piece. Beautiful as a focal point in living rooms, bedrooms, or waiting areas.

All physical prints are produced on premium enhanced matte paper with archival-quality inks for rich color accuracy and a sophisticated finish.

What's the difference between digital and physical? How do I choose?

Choose digital downloads if you want maximum flexibility—control over paper type, print size, and timing. Digital is also ideal if you want to print multiple sizes from a single purchase, prefer instant delivery, or enjoy the DIY process.

Choose physical prints if you want professional quality without the effort—premium paper, precise color matching, and a print that arrives ready to frame. Physical prints are especially popular for gifts, therapist offices, and anyone who values convenience.

Both formats deliver the same thoughtfully designed artwork. It's simply a question of whether you'd rather do the printing yourself or have it done for you.

How do I print digital downloads?

You have several options:

Print at Home — If you have a quality inkjet printer and photo paper, you can print smaller sizes at home. We recommend matte or luster photo paper for the best results.

Local Print Shops — Most office supply stores (Staples, Office Depot) and pharmacies (CVS, Walgreens) offer photo printing. Simply upload your file and pick it up.

Professional Print Labs — For the highest quality—especially for larger prints or archival quality—we recommend professional labs like Nations Photo Lab, Mpix, or Printique. They offer museum-quality papers and precise color matching.

Can I print multiple copies of digital downloads?

Absolutely. Your purchase is for personal use, which includes printing as many copies as you need for your own spaces or as gifts for friends and family. We just ask that you don't resell the files or prints, or share the digital files with others.

Ordering & Delivery

How do I receive digital downloads?

Immediately after your purchase is confirmed, you'll receive an email with a secure download link. Most customers receive this within 2–5 minutes. (Check your spam folder if it's not in your inbox.)

Click the link, download your files, and you're ready to print.

My download link isn't working. What do I do?

First, check your spam or promotions folder—download emails sometimes end up there.

If you still can't find it, or if the link isn't working, email us at hello@havenandhold.com. We typically respond within a few hours and can resend your files right away.

How long do I have to download?

Your download link allows 5 downloads and remains active for 30 days. We recommend downloading promptly and saving your files somewhere safe (a dedicated folder, cloud storage, or backup drive).

If your link expires before you've downloaded, just email us. We're happy to send a fresh link.

How are physical prints shipped?

Physical prints are produced to order by our professional print partner, then shipped directly to you. Here's what to expect:

Production Time — 2–4 business days. Each print is produced individually to ensure quality.

Shipping Time — 4–7 business days within the US via standard shipping.

Total Delivery Time — Most orders arrive within 7–12 business days.

You'll receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your print ships.

How much does shipping cost for physical prints?

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Standard US shipping typically runs $6–$8 for unframed prints. Multiple prints in the same order may ship together.

Do you ship internationally?

We currently ship physical prints within the United States. International customers can purchase digital downloads for instant delivery anywhere in the world.

Can I request a custom quote or size?

We love hearing what resonates with our community. While we can't guarantee we'll create every request, we're always collecting ideas for future prints.

Email us at hello@havenandhold.com with your suggestion. If it's a quote we can't include (due to copyright), we'll let you know—and might be able to suggest an alternative.

Using Our Prints

Can I use these in my therapy practice?

Yes! Many of our customers are therapists, counselors, and wellness practitioners. Our personal-use license covers displaying prints in your office or practice space—whether you print a digital download or purchase a physical print.

Physical prints in the 11×14" size are a favorite among practitioners for their professional presence.

If you're interested in reproducing prints for clients or including them in materials you distribute, contact us about commercial licensing options.

Can I give these as gifts?

Absolutely. You can print digital copies as gifts for friends and family, or purchase a physical print that arrives ready to frame—no wrapping paper required (well, maybe a little). If you'd prefer to let someone choose their own prints, we also offer gift cards.

Can I share the digital files with friends?

We ask that you not share the digital files—each purchase supports a small, independent creator, and file sharing makes it harder for us to continue creating.

If a friend loves what they see, they can purchase their own copy (and you'll have the satisfaction of introducing them to something meaningful).

Can I modify the prints?

The files are delivered as-is and are designed to be printed without modification. We don't recommend altering the files, and modified versions shouldn't be shared, sold, or attributed to Haven & Hold.

Payments & Refunds

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay through our secure checkout powered by Shopify.

What is your refund policy?

Digital Downloads — Because digital products are delivered instantly, all digital sales are generally final. However, we genuinely want you to be satisfied. If you experience technical issues—corrupted files, download problems, or quality issues with the files themselves—email us within 30 days and we'll make it right, including a full refund if we can't resolve the issue.

We cannot offer refunds for change of mind after download or for printing issues caused by incorrect settings at your print service.

Physical Prints — We stand behind the quality of every print. Because physical prints are made to order, we cannot accept returns for change of mind or incorrect size selection. However:

  • If your print arrives damaged or defective, we'll send a replacement at no charge. No need to return the damaged print.

  • If you're unsatisfied with print quality (color, clarity, paper), contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right with a replacement or refund.

To report an issue with any order, email hello@havenandhold.com with your order number, a photo of the issue (for physical prints), and a brief description of the problem. We respond within 24 hours and resolve most issues within 48 hours.

The charge doesn't show the business name I expected.

Charges may appear as "Haven & Hold" or "Shopify" on your statement, depending on your bank. If you see a charge you don't recognize around the time you made a purchase, it's likely us.

Who creates these prints?

Haven & Hold is a small, independent operation. Every print is thoughtfully designed with therapeutic depth and literary quality—created for people who need their space to hold them when the world won't.

How do you choose your quotes?

We curate quotes with intention, drawing from literary sources, historical figures, therapeutic concepts, and original writing. We look for words that don't just motivate or affirm—but actually hold. Words that acknowledge the complexity of being human.

We avoid clichés, toxic positivity, and empty inspiration. Everything we create is designed for people doing the real work of healing, growing, and simply getting through.

What about the quality of physical prints?

Our physical prints are produced by a professional print partner with in-house fulfillment centers in the United States. Each print uses premium enhanced matte paper and eco-friendly archival inks for excellent color accuracy and a refined, gallery-worthy finish.

We order and inspect samples of every design before making it available, and we monitor quality on an ongoing basis. If a print ever falls short of our standards, we replace it—no questions asked.

Do you have a physical store?

We're online only—which means no overhead, no inventory markups, and the ability to offer high-quality designs at accessible prices. Plus, digital downloads give you instant delivery anywhere in the world, and physical prints ship directly from our print partner to your door.
